Mid-Columbia Breast &  Cervical Cancer Programs

North Central Public Health District participates in The Oregon Breast and Cervical Cancer Program. This program helps low-income, uninsured, and underserved individuals gain access to free lifesaving screening programs for early detection of breast and cervical cancers.

These free services can include pap smears, breast exams, mammograms, and other diagnostic procedures if recommended. Eligible individuals living in Oregon can receive these services.  Information is available at the Health Department.

  • Must be age 40 or older (women under 40 must have special approval)
  • Uninsured or under insured (have a high deductible or insurance that does not cover these tests)
  • Not eligible for Medicare Part B
  • Low income
  • Oregon resident
