We recently completed our five-year strategic plan, which lays out our goals through 2028. It implements statewide public health modernization goals, with an eye to ensuring everyone has access to public health services to keep them healthy, reduce costly medical care, and ensure kids are ready to learn in school.

Board Of Health

The Board serves as the public health authority for public health services in Wasco and Sherman Counties. The Board will approve an estimate of the cost of maintaining the Health District for the ensuing fiscal year. The Board also advises the Director and requests information from the Director as the Board deems necessary, adopts resolutions and rules, not inconsistent with or less strict than any public health law or rule of the Oregon Health Authority, for the protection and preservation of public health and keeps minutes of all meetings of the Board.

Public Records Requests

NCPHD is committed to providing public records in response to requests made pursuant to Oregon Public Records Law (ORS 192.410-192.505). Public records requests shall be made available on request for inspection or copying, without unreasonable delay.

Please follow the following steps:

1.    Please complete the Records Request Form Appendix A in full.

2.    Please return the request form to:

Form via Mail or Email to publichealth@ncphd.org

3.    Once received, the request will be reviewed and you will receive an NCPHD Records Request Acknowledgement or Denial Form Appendix B explaining the next steps in the process.

4.    You will also be notified of all applicable fees based on the NCPHD Public Records Fee Schedule (see above).

5.    Please do not send any money prior to receiving notification of applicable fees and the exact amount due.

6.    You will receive a copy of the NPCHD Public Records Request Policy with the notification of the applicable fees amount due.
