NCPHD Offering Free COVID-19 test kits in Drive-Up Event Dec. 15

Just in time for holiday gatherings, North Central Public Health District is again offering free at-home COVID-19 test kits, with a drive up pickup for your convenience. The kits will be distributed in our parking lot on Friday, Dec. 15, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

No appointment is necessary.  Just pull up to the Annex C building, which is on the right when you reach our parking lot at 419 E. 7th St., and someone will bring you a couple of boxes of test kits. Each box contains two tests.

We also have free at-home test kits available during business hours in our lobby. They are on a table just inside the entrance, please come help yourself. Our business hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. We are closed from noon to 1. Again, we will be offering limited drive-up test kit distribution on Friday, Dec. 15 only, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Test kits should be used:

·         If you have COVID symptoms, test immediately

·         Or if you’ve been exposed to a COVID-positive person, but don’t have symptoms, wait at least five full 5 days from date of contact with the exposed person, then use the test.
