Coat Drive Begins at NCPHD

Coat Drive Begins at NCPHD

NCPHD organiza la campaña de donación de abrigos/chamarras

For the first time, North Central Public Health District is doing a coat drive to help support the Mid-Columbia Community Action Council. Donations of coats for men and women in all sizes (no child coats please) can be dropped off at the NCPHD office, at 419 E. 7th St. in The Dalles.

We ask that coats be new or gently used and washed, and in good condition. We are also asking for donations of new clean adult socks. The coat drive starts today, Nov. 28, and will conclude Jan. 31. NCPHD is open Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., and is closed from noon to 1 p.m. each day.

If anyone is interested in hosting a dropbox for coats at their place of business or a similar location, please contact Gloria Alvarez at gloriaa@ncphd.org or at 541-506-2699.

NCPHD has previously held a blanket drive each January, but is doing coat drive this year instead.

(For more information, please contact North Central Public Health District at (541) 506-2600, visit us on the web at www.ncphd.org or find us on Facebook.)
