Drive-Up pickup of Free At-Home COVID-19 Tests at NCPHD

With respiratory season upon us, and family gatherings planned as the holidays approach, North Central Public Health District is offering free iHealth COVID-19 test kits, with a limited drive-up pickup for your convenience.

The limited drive-up option is available (no call necessary) this Thursday and Friday, Nov. 16 and 17, from noon to 2 p.m. each day.  Just pull up to the Annex C building, which is on the right when you reach our parking lot at 419 E. 7th St., and someone will bring you a couple of boxes of test kits. Each box contains two tests.

We also have free at-home test kits available during business hours in our lobby. They are on a table just inside the entrance, please come help yourself. Our business hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. We are closed from noon to 1. Again, we will be offering limited drive-up test kit distribution on Thursday and Friday only from noon to 2 p.m.

Test kits should be used:

·         If you have COVID symptoms, test immediately

·         Or if you’ve been exposed to a COVID-positive person, but don’t have symptoms, wait at least five full 5 days from date of contact with the exposed person, then use the test.

If you test positive, stay home and follow the guidance from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control found at:
