Wasco County Medical Reserve Corps Blanket Drive Update

Wasco County Medical Reserve Corps Blanket Drive Update

Actualización de la campaña general MRC del condado de Wasco

The ongoing Wasco County Medical Reserve Corps (MRC) blanket drive is also asking for donations of adult coats as well as socks. The drive continues through February, with three convenient drop-off locations.

The donations benefit St. Vincent de Paul. All items must be new, or gently used and washed and in good condition.

The three drop-off locations, all in The Dalles, are:

  • North Central Public Health District (NCPHD), 419 E. 7th St., in The Dalles. Hours 8:30 a.m. to noon, and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.

  • La Michoacana, at 1210 Kelly Ave. Hours are 7:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., seven days a week.

  • Grocery Outlet, 1300 W. 6th St. Hours are 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., seven days a week.

NCPHD and the MRC appreciate the ongoing generosity of the community. The MRC has held a blanket drive for nine years, and last year switched up that tradition to do a coat drive.

If you have any questions, or are interested in becoming an MRC volunteer, please reach out to Gloria Alvarez at gloriaa@ncphd.org or at 541-506-2699.
