Weekly Vaccine Report for Week Ending April 10

Informe semanal de la vacuna COVID-19 para la semana que finaliza el 10 de abril

Through last week, over 15,200 COVID-19 vaccine doses have been administered in North Central Public Health District’s three-county service area of Wasco, Sherman and Gilliam counties.

Wasco County has vaccinated 34.95 percent of its population; Sherman County 33.63 percent and Gilliam County 27.82 percent.

Entities providing vaccines include NCPHD, Mid-Columbia Medical Center, One Community Health, Sherman County Medical Clinic in Moro, Arlington Medical Center, South Gilliam Health Center in Condon, and Deschutes Rim Clinic in Maupin.

Local pharmacies, including Safeway, Walgreen’s, Rite Aid and Bi-Mart in The Dalles and Murray’s Drug in Condon are offering vaccines.

Through last Saturday, April 10, the below entities have administered 15,284 vaccines, including first and second doses. The breakdown of vaccines by agency or group is:

 

  • North Central Public Health District (NCPHD): 9,342 cumulative doses; 1,230 the week ending April 10.

  • Sherman County Medical Center: cumulative 704; 10 the week ending April 10.

  • Mid-Columbia Medical Center: 1,481 cumulative. (MCMC staffs a vaccine clinic on Wednesdays but the vaccine count is now tabulated through NCPHD and appointments are booked through NCPHD’s booking system.)

  • One Community Health: 1,549 cumulative; 290 the week ending April 10.

  • Mid-Columbia Fire & Rescue: 332 cumulative doses (MCFR has completed its vaccine work, which included first responders.)

  • Arlington Medical Center: 110 cumulative; 0 the week ending April 10.

  • South Gilliam Health Center: 88 cumulative, 0 the week ending April 10.

  • Deschutes Rim Health Clinic: 272 cumulative; 43 the week ending April 10.

  • Local long term care facilities: 1,406 cumulative doses. (Long term care facilities have completed their doses.)

 

Starting Monday, April 19, all Oregonians over the age of 16 are eligible for the vaccine. NCPHD has the Moderna vaccine, for those 18 and older, and is also soon getting the Pfizer vaccine, which is authorized for those 16 and older.
